F.I.N.D-One of the facts I got from "The Crucible" is that Mass Hysteria actually exists. I never knew that things like the ones from "The Crucible" could actually happen like that and "The Crucible" has helped me understand this. While we were reading "The Crucible" I felt a connection and big understanding to the mass hysteria and how it played out. I felt angered at some characters and also understanding as I understood decisions even though some might not agree with what the character did. One of the new ideas I got from "The Crucible" is about how in 1692 in Salem how were very religious and that's what they lived off of. If word about someone doing witchcraft started they would believe it and the person would be in big trouble even with no evidence. Another new idea from "The Crucible" was their restrictions. It sounds weird how they weren't aloud to dance. A decision that I will make based on my reading and understanding of "The Crucible" is a decision of academic and to come to the understanding of how the characters all had to do what they had to do to same themselves and that I should not feel to mad at some decisions.
October Reflection
I have been doing good in terms of academic goals I have 4 A's and 2 high B's now compared to the D and C that I had near the beginning of the year. I read enough books but I think I have to read a bit more. Also I feel I need to participate a little more during class especially Language Arts. I think the only weakness is that I need to participate more. I feel that I can also improve a little in writing. I feel the important thing I need to work on this month is participation.
